Hello from Linda...My first blog posting. Well, steroids have been doubled and wow can you tell!
Yesterday, Friday my daddy was up and down--he was like a whirl wind and he wore me out. I never really knew what steroids were for (always thought to build those muscles) until now. I really think Hospice should be giving all of us steroids.

Due to the rain, we had to go to the garage for those smoke breaks. My daddy enjoyed watching the rain and the other things his mind comes up with: he and I have watched "dogs playing" even when there are no dogs! I prefer to go along with him rather than wach the confusion on his face when I say "daddy, there are no dogs".

As we moved from the patio to the garage, my mother escorted him to the garage while I was putting the umbrella up. As I walked into the house, I heard my mother call "Lindaaaaa"....I strolled into the garage and there they both were - my daddy flat of his back and my mother flat of her bottom on the garage floor...my mother giggling, my daddy saying "we gotta keep out wits
about us". Now, that was a task for me; I had my work cut out for me! We did it though..

I am off now, lets see how their night went. His first sleeping pill, increasing his Morphine I think made him alittle anxious last night; Cathy was going to givehim Haldol around midnight if he were still anxious.....maybe they both got a good night's sleep.
